A shooting in Hermitage put a woman in the hospital and a man being arrested.

Around 10 p.m. on Friday night, police responded to a call regarding a shooting on the 500 block of Cohassett Drive.

A woman had been hit by gunfire and was then life-flighted to a trauma center within the region.

According to an official statement from Deputy Chief Joel Ristvey, the suspect was arrested with no resistance.

Police are emphasizing that this incident was isolated as they continue to investigate.
