A North Carolina man is facing charges here in the Mahoning Valley for allegedly sending obscene sexual images to minors.

According to an indictment filed in Mahoning County, 44-year-old George Brown of Charlotte, North Carolina is charged with one count each of disseminating matter harmful to juveniles and nonconsensual dissemination of private sexual images.

The indictment states the alleged crimes happened back in October of 2024 when Brown allegedly sent an obscene sexual image of another person without their consent to a 17-year-old.

According to the indictment, the person in the obscene photo was at least 18 years old.

Court records show that a warrant has been issued for Brown's arrest Thursday, January 23, the same day the indictment was filed.
