Youngstown State University will be receiving a contribution of $100,000 to Kilcawley: "Centered on the Future" Campaign.

The donation, made by longtime supporters Jim and Melissa DiBacco, will support the naming of one of the basketball courts in the Andrews Student Recreation and Wellness Center.

"We're proud to contribute to a place that has played such an important role in our community and in our family's life," said Jim DiBacco.

He continues, "This gift is a small way for us to give back to YSU, which has provided so much to our community and to the students who make it thrive."

YSU President Bill Johnson also expressed his gratitude for the DiBacco's contribution.

"The DiBacco family has been a steadfast supporter of YSU, and we are incredibly grateful for their continued generosity. This gift will help ensure that Kilcawley Center remains a vibrant, dynamic space for future generations of students to learn, grow and connect with one another."

The DiBaccios are one of many donors for the project. Other donors include the John S. and Doris M. Andrews Memorial Fund, the estate of YSU graduate Richard Zarilla, YSU Trustee Joe Kerola and his wife Pam, Premier Bank and more.
