Mahoning's Hollywood Gaming welcomes their new vice president and general manager

Hollywood Gaming at Mahoning Valley Race Course has welcomed Erich Zimmy as its new vice president and general manager. 

Erich entered the gaming industry in racing operations with Hollywood Casino at Charles Town Races in West Virginia and also oversaw retail sports betting and trading for Penn Interactive.

He also recently served as assistant general manager for Hollywood Columbus since 2022, oversighting the property's gaming operations.

"I'm excited to lead the team at Mahoning, a property with a reputation of delivering great guest experiences while consistently supporting the growth and development of our team members," Erich says.

He continues, "at Hollywood, we take a lot of pride in being a good community partner and look forward to playing a continued important role in supporting the Youngstown-Warren region."

Erich will be replacing Rob Swedinovich, who is now in the same role at Ameristar East Chicago in Indiana.
