Authorities shut down Canfield 'foot spa' allegedly offering sex for cash

A business allegedly involved in prostitution in Canfield was closed only a week after opening.

Canfield Police and the Mahoning Valley Human Trafficking Task Force on Tuesday raided the Harmony Foot Spa that occupied rented office space in a building on the 400 block of West Main Street.

Police arrested 36-year-old Shanshan Zhang, booking her into the county jail on charges of promoting prostitution, soliciting, and possessing criminal tools.

Authorities say Zhang offered sex to an undercover agent in exchange for money.

Zhang is expected to be arraigned in county court on Friday.
