Cardinal Mooney names new football coach
Cardinal Mooney High School has officially named its new football coach and athletic director.
A representative for the school has confirmed with 21 News that Frank Colaprete will be the school's athletic director as well.
Colaprete was the head coach at the College of Wooster since 2013 and returns to his alma mater.
"Frank has deep roots in this community and a legacy of football excellence that spans generations. He has proven himself a dynamic leader and mentor and we are confident he will continue to build on the proud tradition of Mooney football while elevating our entire athletic program. His experience and understanding of what makes Cardinal Mooney special will be invaluable as we move forward," said President/Principal Nick Beyer.
"I am incredibly honored and humbled to return to Cardinal Mooney as the head football coach, said Colaprete. "This school and meant so much to me and my family , and we're thankful and very excited to get started."
