Champion music store closing its doors after nearly 40 years in business
A music store in Warren will be closing its doors permanently after nearly 40 years in business.
Fordeley's Music & Instrument Repair owner Frank Fordeley told 21 News he will soon be retiring and the business will soon be closing its doors upon his retirement. Fordeley says after nearly 40 years in the business, he felt like it was time to retire and focus more on his family.
Fordeley said the store will be having a going out of business sale and the building will also be up for sale.
During its time in business, Fordeley's Music & Instrument Repair has served many Valley musicians and beyond including famous saxophonist Kenny G, who entrusted Fordeley to repair his saxophone before a performance at Packard Music Hall in 2019.
There is no word yet on an exact date for when the store will close.
