More snow can be expected throughout the remainder of Thursday.

Expect roads to be slick for the remainder of the day and for the evening commute, as an additional 1-2 inches of snow will fall. Highs on Thursday will reach the upper 20s, but that will occur closer to midnight.

Friday will feature a good deal of afternoon sunshine with high temperatures around freezing.

Wet, slushy snow will fall for most of Saturday, with highs in the upper 30s. An additional slushy inch of snow will be possible, but mainly on non-paved surfaces.

A bitter cold will arrive for the first half of next week.

MLK Day will feature morning temperatures in the single digits and afternoon temperatures not budging much warmer; wind chills values will range from -15 to -10 all day.

Tuesday will feature an ineffective, mostly sunny sky. Temperatures will range from -5 degrees in the morning to 5 degrees in the afternoon, but wind chills will be as cold as -20 degrees in the morning and as cold as -15 degrees in the afternoon.

Wednesday remains dangerously cold. Air temperatures will fall to as low as -8 in the morning, and afternoon highs will be as warm as the low teens. However, the wind chill will remain as cold as -20 in the morning and -5 in the afternoon.
