The Mahoning County Auditor has a new software for property searches on their website. 

Mahoning County Auditor Ralph Meachum told 21 News that the new reporting software is the same as the previous version, which works in the background. The change was made because it is friendlier to users, provides additional graphics and information, new calculators, easier access to data and better appearance on cell phones.

The new look was launched with the new year, starting on January 2. 

Meachum said that after the new taxes are calculated, additional data will be added to the site, including a graph of tax distributions for each parcel.

Meachum said he first saw the new software at the County Auditor Association of Ohio Summer Conference in June and we fast-tracked it to push it out to taxpayers.
