Fred Martin Ford in Austintown will soon be under new ownership.

Austintown Zoning Inspector Darren Crivelli told 21 News that #1 Cochran had contacted his office for zoning code information for signage for Fred Martin Ford on Mahoning Avenue. 

According to a press release from #1 Cochran, the business will operate as a Mercedes-Benz and Ford dealership making it the company's first Mercedes Benz franchise and fifth Ford store.

#1 Cochran Chairman and CEO Rob Cochran is quoted in the release saying this acquisition exemplifies the company's vision of "scaling thoughtfully to create a dynamic network of dealerships, services and solutions that provide unique value to customers."

"By integrating these exceptional dealerships into our operations, we're able to grow key offerings from luxury and commercial vehicles to advanced service capabilities while strengthening the overall value and convenience we bring to customers," Cochran said.

#1 Cochran has several auto dealerships in the Mahoning Valley including Honda, Buick, Nissan, Chevrolet and more in Boardman. This will be #1 Cochran's eighth dealership in the Mahoning Valley.
