A major intersection in North Lima was closed to traffic for nearly ten hours on Tuesday following an accident that sent two people to a hospital.

Route 7 at South Range Road was closed until 5 p.m. after the two-vehicle crash happened at around 7 a.m. Tuesday.

Two utility poles were struck in the crash involving two pickup trucks, bringing down wires, closing the intersection, and forcing Route 7 traffic to be rerouted.
