Firefighters rescued a man in a wheelchair from a burning home in Youngstown early Tuesday.
The fire department and a rescue squad were dispatched at around 4:30 a.m. after 9-1-1 received a call about a blaze at the corner of West Chalmers and Oak Hill Avenues.
The first firefighter on the scene reported smoke coming from the house's second floor.
Crews removed the man in a wheelchair from the home's first floor, and a second person got out.
The Red Cross is being asked to help provide shelter and other necessities for the two adults who live at the home.
Firefighters put out flames that had broken out in a bedroom.
Investigators are looking for the cause of the blaze.
