Snow subsides but another polar punch is on the way
Roads are slick across the valley to start Saturday morning as light snow continues to fall in many locations. Snow will taper to a few flurries by midday with high temperatures reaching the upper 20s. A flurry could linger into Saturday evening, with overnight lows in the upper teens.
Skies will turn partly sunny for a time Sunday afternoon with temperatures around the 30-degree mark. It will be some short-lived sunshine as clouds quickly build back in Sunday night ahead of an area of low pressure.
Snow showers will become possible for a time Sunday night into Monday morning with temperatures dropping throughout much of the day. Low temperatures will return to the single digits Monday night with a flurry or two possible.
Frigid air is again in the forecast for Tuesday and Wednesday with high temperatures only in the mid to upper teens. More snow showers will be possible on those days as well before tapering off on Thursday. High temperatures will jump back up above the freezing mark on Friday.
