State Troopers are investigating an accident that injured one person and snarled traffic headed west on Interstate 80 in Hubbard overnight.

Two tractor trailers collided just after midnight Thursday along I-80s westbound lanes.

The crash happened when a semi-truck traveling at a reduced speed was rear-ended by another semi, being  driven by 30-year-old Anmol Grover of Greenwood, Indiana.

Grover was taken to a Youngstown hospital for treatment of serious, life-threatening injuries.

The other driver wasn’t hurt.

Some cars and trucks were diverted through the weigh station to get around the wreckage.

Both westbound lanes opened again just before 4 a.m.
