A Newton Falls man who pled guilty in October of 2024 to leaving a toddler alone with a dangerous dog has learned his fate.
According to court employees, 26-year-old Jonah Fisher was sentenced to two years of probation on two misdemeanor counts of endangering children.
The charges stem from an incident back in March of 2024 when Braceville Police say Fisher along with 26-year-old Destany Myers left a two-year-old alone in a room with a dog police say they knew to be dangerous.
According to police, Fisher told officers the dog had to be relocated to the home after it "snapped on" his dad.
Myers was also sentenced to two years of probation on two counts of endangering children back in December of 2024.
