A traffic accident shut down a stretch of Mahoning Avenue in Austintown for a couple of hours Monday.

A car crashed into a utility pole just after 5:30 a.m. Monday, bringing down wires across the road near Edgehill Avenue.

The road was closed until nearly 7:30 a.m. after an Ohio Edison crew could remove the lines.

21 News is working to learn more about the crash. State Troopers say no one was injured.
