The man killed in a shooting Saturday afternoon in Farrell has been identified.

The Mercer County Coroner's Office identified the victim as 36-year-old Anthony Edward Lewis Jr of Farrell.

The shooting happened in the 500 block of Beechwood Avenue on the city's south side.

According to the release, Lewis died from a gunshot wound to the chest.

Police are investigating and there's no word yet on any suspects or arrests.
