We will have the chance to add to yesterday's snowfall totals as lake-effect snow showers continue into Saturday. The highest impacts will occur in the northern portions of our area, but slick travel is expected across the board.

High temperatures will only reach the low 20s Saturday afternoon, with wind chills in the single digits. Flurries will taper off overnight, and low temperatures will be in the mid-teens.

Sunday will be the quietest day of the weekend. Skies will be partly to mostly cloudy, but there will not be any snow to worry about. However, temperatures will still struggle to get out of the mid-20s in most spots.

Our next storm system will move to our south early Monday morning, bringing another round of accumulating snow to the valley. While this will not be a significant storm for our area, the Monday morning commute could be impacted, especially in Columbiana County.

Locations in Columbiana County can generally expect 2-4 inches of snow on Monday, with lesser amounts to the north. The snow will taper off Monday afternoon, leaving just a few flurries for the middle of the week.

The frigid cold will stick around for the next several days. High temperatures will range from the low to mid-20s through next weekend.
