Former Farrell football standout Kylon Wilson announced via social media he is transferring from Slippery Rock University to Youngstown State University.

Wilson was a three-time all-state selection while at Farrell. He racked up over 3,000 all-purpose yards and 57 touchdowns.

In 2023, Wilson appeared in all 14 games at Slippery Rock University. He recorded over 900 all-purpose yards, 793 kick return yards, 79 rushing yards and scored two touchdowns.

In 2024, the sophomore saw action in 14 games. On October 31 at Clarion, he caught seven passes for 147 yards and two touchdowns. He had a pair of 92-yard receiving games on September 28 against Edinboro and October 5 at Indiana, PA.

In total, he hauled in 57 receptions for 637 yards and 4 touchdowns in 2024.

Wilson ranks third in kick return yards at Slippery Rock University.
