The Youngstown State men's basketball started off 2025 the way they ended 2024....with a win.

The Penguins won their eighth game in a row,  77-61  over IU-Indy and set a program Division I record for most consecutive wins..  They are now 10-5 overall and 5-0 in the Horizon League.  It's also their first 5-0 start since joining the league in 2001.

EJ Farmer led the Penguins with 26 points and Siem Uitendaal came off the bench with 14.

The Penguins never trailed and play again Saturday at Purdue Fort Wayne at 7:00pm.

Their next home game at the Zidian Family Arena at Beeghly Cener is Wednesday, January 8 against Northern Kentucky.
