Mill Creek MetroParks posted on its Facebook page a notice of a temporary closure affecting a section of road within the park. 

West Newport Drive, located between Kiowa Road and Cascade Road in the park, is closed. Mill Creek MetroParks cites a City of Youngstown waterline break and repair as the reason for the closure.

According to the Facebook post, the closure will remain in place for about two weeks.

Mill Creek MetroParks states that all forms of traffic, including cars and pedestrians, are prohibited from accessing the area.
