Salvation Army releases results of Red Kettle Campaign in Mahoning County

The Salvation Army's Mahoning County Services have just released the results from this year's Red Kettle Campaign.

In total the campaign was able to raise $92,210.75 by way of donations from those in Mahoning County.

The proceeds from the campaign will go towards charitable causes to help out the community. Some of the programs the campaign money will go towards are listed below.

• Community Meals which served over 51,000 meals in 2024
• Community Clothing Closet which distributed over 16,000 articles of clothing
• Food Pantry which provided a monthly food box to supplement over 2,000 households in Mahoning County
• Summer Youth Program which provided a free Summer Youth Camp 5 days a week
• Provided toys & gifts to 1,503 children for Christmas
• Provided Energy Assistance in the amount of $ 43,918 benefiting 1,282 Mahoning County residents.

The Red Kettle Campaign is an annual fundraiser the Salvation Army runs to raise money to help those in need.
