New Year's Eve events around the Valley
As we get ready to ring in the new year, we're all looking for ways to celebrate.
Whether you're staying in and watching the ball drop from home or going out to visit friends and family, there is plenty to do around the region.

- New Year's Eve at Waypoint 4180 (4180 Westford Pl, Candfield): 7:30 p.m.
- Tickets are $90 per person, including tax, gratuity and fees) and may be purchased at waypoint4180.com or by calling 330-533-6692.
- The party includes a full dinner buffet, live music, dancing, and more. There will be a champagne toast at midnight.

- New Year's Eve Fireworks at Wean Park (201 S, Phelps Street, Youngstown): 10 p.m. to 11:45 p.m.
- This event is free admission.
- There will be free parking at the Covelli Centre.
- 2025 New Year Celebration Party at Steel Valley Brew Works (7401 Market Street, Youngstown): 6 p.m. to 1 a.m.
- Features live music, complimentary hors d'oeuvres and a champagne toast at midnight.
- Tickets are $40 per person and have a limited quantity. Tickets are only sold in person at Steel Valley Brew Works.
- The dress code is listed as "casual elegance."
- This event is 21+ only.
- "Clock Strikes Ink" New Year's Eve Flash Event at Chysos Tattoo (49 W Liberty Street, Girard): 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
- Guests may choose a flash design from the pages on the Chrysos Tattoo page.
- Each design is $80 with a $20 one-time redraw. This event is cash-only and first-come-first-serve.
- Each tattoo may only be placed on the arms and legs. The designs are about palm-sized, according to the advertisement, and cannot be resized.
- New Year's Eve Afternoon Party at Post Office Pub (3821 Main Street, Mineral Ridge): 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
- The restaurant will be open from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. with lunch, dinner, and drink specials all day.
- The party from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. features live music and karaoke with Lou Ronghi.
- New Year's Eve party supplies will be provided, and a champagne toast at "midnight."
- Reservations are suggested but not required. Anyone looking to make a reservation may call 330-349-0440.
- New Year's Eve Fiesta at Los Gallos (685 Boardman Canfield Road, Youngstown): 5 p.m. to New Year's Day
- A featured aspect of the fiesta is the option to participate in a buffet.
- Tickets to the buffet and music are $40, or $20 to enjoy the music.
- Doors to the event will open at 5 p.m. with music by AC & the Heat. 1988 will perform beginning at 10:30 p.m. and will continue until New Year's Day.
- New Year's Eve at Double Bogey's Bar and Grill (7401 Market Street, Boardman)
- DJ Stan and DJ Fabrizio will be spinning throughout the facility.
- The kitchen will be open until 10 p.m., and the fryers will be running until midnight.
- Interested parties may reserve a private golf bay special from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. by calling The Bunker at (330) 302-2399.
- New Year's Eve at Westside Bowl (2617 Mahoning Avenue, Youngstown): Doors open at 7 p.m., and the show begins at 8 p.m.
- Live band performances include The Head Trips, Outrun Infinity, Meddle, and Singled Out.
- There is no cover to see the bands perform.
- Also featured during the celebrations is "S#!T Talking Bar Bingo" with Eric Lewis. Bingo begins at 9 p.m.
- Play is free, but to receive a card, interested individuals must purchase a drink from the bar. Prizes are available to win.
- Happy Hour takes place between 4 p.m. and 8 p.m., with wing specials all night.
- New Year's Eve Dance Party at Mad for Chicken (5851 Warren Rd, Niles): Party goes from 10 p.m. to 2 a.m.
- Must be 21 years of age or older to attend this party.
- No cover charge or ticket purchase is necessary
- DJ from New York will be spearheading the night's playlist.
- Full bar where partygoers can order drinks.
- New Year's Eve with DJ Puff at Penguin City Brewing
- Doors open at 9 p.m.
