A Youngstown man is behind bars after being indicted on several child pornography charges earlier in December.

According to court records, a secret indictment was filed for 43-year-old Nicholas Belcastro on December 19. Belcastro was indicted on five counts each of pandering obscenity and illegal use of a minor in nudity oriented material or performance.

The indictment states that the alleged crimes took place in October of 2021.

According to a report from the Mahoning County Sheriff's Office, Belcastro was found and arrested in Lorain County, Ohio and was then transferred to the Mahoning County Jail December 27.

Belcastro was arraigned Monday morning. There is no word on Belcastro's next court appearance at this time.
