Ohio Adult Parole Authority has denied the parole of a man with convictions in three counties including Trumbull, Cuyahoga and Lake counties.
Robert Allen Baksi was denied his parole for a third time for an aggregate sentence he has been serving since 1998 where he was charged with manslaughter and corrupting another with drugs.
Baksi was in and out of prison nine times from 1978 to 1998 for various crimes and hasn't been out since his 1998 sentencing.
Trumbull County Prosecutor Dennis Watkins notes how important it is to keep Baksi behind bars saying "He truly has been both a menace inside and outside prison walls."
Watkins went on record thanking the state parole board rulings for keeping repeat violent offenders off the street before their sentence is over.
Baksi will be eligible for parole again in September 2029 and his sentence will end on January 16, 2034.
