JCC to expand Early Learning Center with grant money
The Jewish Community Center (JCC) in Youngstown has received $100,000 in grants to expand the Early Learning Center.
This project will ensure a safe and engaging environment for children as young as 16-35 months old.
The new classroom will include more teachers on staff to promote personalized care and attention, dedicated play spaces alongside a nap area and age-appropriate learning materials and toys.
The grants were provided through J. Ford Crandall Memorial Foundation, Beecher Foundation, John S and Doris Andrews Memorial Fund, Penner Family Endowment, Frank and Pearl Gelbman Charitable Foundation, Community Foundation of the Mahoning Valley and Walter E. and Caroline H. Watson Foundation.
Construction on the project will begin in early 2025 and its completion will arrive around the 2025-2026 school year.
