Multiple police departments are on what is being described as an active scene for a stand off in Masury on Friday.

The heavy police presence is along the 500 block of Lucy Street in the community near the Pennsylvania state line in Trumbull County. The standoff began before 11 am.

The road is currently closed. A Swat team is on the scene.

Police officers had weapons drawn on a house on the street and around 1:15 p.m, an officer on a loud speaker can be heard calling for someone to come out of the house.

Brookfield Police are being assisted by other police departments, including Sharon and Howland police.

911 Trumbull Dispatch told 21 News officers were sent to the scene on reports of shots fired in the area.
