Friday morning’s winter road conditions proved hazardous for a school bus in northern Trumbull County.

A bus slid off Phillips Rice Road and into a ditch as it was turning from Route 88 in Mecca Township shortly before 7 a.m.

Neither the driver nor the three students on the bus from the Maplewood Local School District were injured.

A tow truck was called to pull the bus out of the ditch.
