The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation has lifted the speed limit and right-lane-only commercial vehicle restrictions that were in place on Interstate 80 in Mercer and Venango counties. 

Due to winter weather impacting the region, speed limits were temporarily reduced to 45 miles per hour. All speeds are now restored to their usual posted limits.

Dispatchers tell 21 News that roads were slick before sunrise in Trumbull County.

There have been several reports of vehicles spinning out on slippery highways.

Trucks have been called out in both Trumbull and Mahoning Counties to plow and salt roads, ramps, and bridges.
