Ohio governor to sign bill targeting sexually abusive medical professionals

Ohio Governor Mike DeWine will be attending a bill-signing ceremony December 20 at 10 a.m. to sign Senate Bill 109 into law.
This bill according to a press release from Gov. DeWine's media team will "significantly strengthen the authority of the State Medical Board of Ohio" by ensuring that medical professionals who sexually abuse patients will be held accountable accordingly.
The proposed bill would increase transparency for victims and other patients.
