Boardman  senior Marissa Funk, has committed to extend her athletic and academic career at Adelphi University in Long Island.  Funk was a member of the state championship team in 2024 and a  three  time AAC All Conference team member, 2024 AAC Player of the Year, and a two  time All-Northeast District Team member. 

 Marissa carries a lifetime average of 198  and is currently carrying an impressive 214 average her senior season. She's a three time state qualifier and two time All-Ohioan.
