Owner of Hubbard Pizza Works starts GoFundMe following fire
The owner of Pizza Works in Hubbard is calling on the community for help after a fire put business on pause for the restaurant.
Hubbard Pizza Works owner Bill Siwicki has started a GoFundMe campaign with a donation goal of $10,000 in order to help his employees who have lost their source of income for the time being.
The restaurant fell victim to a fire on Sunday, December 15. No one was injured in the blaze, but there is no timeframe for when the restaurant can open back up and employees can come back to work.
"The unknown of when we can reopen is debilitating, and to say our team is scared, nervous and stressed about pay is an understatement. ... With a payroll of $30k per month, keeping our 20+ team members paid is more than we can bear with no revenue coming in," Siwicki said.
So far, Siwicki has raised just over $1,600. You can donate to the cause by clicking here.
