Three women face several charges after a high-speed police chase ended with a crash into a Warren auto repair business Tuesday night.

The incident began around 10 p.m. when officers answered a report of a theft at Family Dollar on Parkman Road. Police wre looking for two women who fled in a small vehicle.

An officer who spotted a vehicle matching the description attempted to stop it. The driver, later identified as Tabitha Flight, refused to stop, leading to a pursuit that ended with a crash into B&M Automotive at the intersection of Southern Boulevard and West Market Street.

Passengers in the car, Melissa Fletcher and Jennifer Parsons, were arrested. Flight was apprehended by a Police K-9 after fleeing the scene on foot.

All three women were taken to local hospitals for treatment of injuries sustained in the crash.

Flight, who was found to have several outstanding warrants, faces charges including felony fleeing and eluding, aggravated vehicular assault, and obstruction of official business.

Fletcher also had outstanding warrants and was found to be in possession of suspected narcotics.

Parsons, who initially provided police with a false name, was charged with falsification.
