Car flips on roof, knocks down traffic signal in early-morning crash in Youngstown
Crews with the Youngstown Fire Department told 21 News when they got to the scene, the car was flipped upside down in the middle of the road and the driver had fled the scene.
An early-morning crash temporarily closed a Youngstown intersection after a car flipped on its roof and knocked over a traffic signal.
The crash happened around 3:45 Wednesday morning at the intersection of Mahoning Avenue and Bon Air Avenue.
Crews with the Youngstown Fire Department told 21 News when they got to the scene, the car was flipped upside down in the middle of the road and the driver had fled the scene.
A traffic signal was also knocked down and laying in the middle of the road and crews from Ohio Edison were called to the scene.
The intersection was closed as crews cleaned up the scene, but a representative from the Youngstown Police Department tells us it has since reopened.
