'Eagle Award' goes to Phyllis Cafaro, highest honor of Sight for All United
Sight for All United announced on December 16 the bestowment of the Eagle Award to Phyllis Cafaro.
According to the announcement, Phyllis Cafaro received the award "in recognition of her unwavering support of the organization's mission."
Sight for All United is a non-profit that helps individuals achieve their vision potential and helps provide access to vision care.
This is a mission that Phyllis supported through her monetary contributions in expanding Sight for All United's services to provide students in Warren City with eye exams and glasses.
According to Sight for All United's Executive Director Leah Sakacs, the 2024 Eye Ball of the Mahoning Valley would not have succeeded as far without the contributions of Phyllis, who was very hands-on throughout the process and provided ideas of how to better make the event a success.
The Eye Ball is an annual fundraiser gala to help raise funds that go back to the community by providing eye screenings and other services.
Sight for All United is appreciative of Phyllis Cafaro's generous support and looks forward to continuing to work with her.
