The appeal of a Trumbull County inmate convicted of splashing a corrections officer with urine has been denied.

According to the Trumbull County Prosecutor's Office, 38-year-old Anthony Wilson is serving an 11-month prison sentence after being found guilty of harassment with a bodily substance in March of 2024.

The charge stems from an incident in January of 2023 when Wilson splashed a Trumbull County Jail corrections officer with urine thrown from a milk carton through an opening in the discipline pod of the jail.

Wilson appealed this conviction claiming the court convicted him without providing sufficient evidence. However, the appeals court found that claim to be without merit.

Wilson will continue serving the remainder of his sentence.
