West Middlesex Fire Department gifted brand-new fire trucks from saved business
The West Middlesex Fire Department received an early Christmas gift this year in the form of new fire trucks from a business that was saved by its firefighters in 2021.
The new fire truck came from T. Bruce Sales, a structural fabricating company in the borough that firefighters saved from a fire back in October of 2021.
As a thank you, the company gifted the department two new fire trucks that employees of the company built themselves using businesses across the Shenango and Mahoning Valleys to find parts.
West Middlesex Fire Chief Rich Garrett thanked T. Bruce Sales for the gift.
"This is an amazing contribution that a local businessman has done. I don't know how anybody can not appreciate this. Especially around Christmas time," Chief Garrett said.
The Shenango Fire Department, who assisted at the scene of the fire was also gifted a firetruck for their help at the scene.
