A 55-year-old Sharpsville man faces ten charges after police say he pointed a semi-automatic pistol toward people at a Sharon bar.

According to a news release from Sharon Police, Ronald Kahl was arrested at the Keg Bar and Grille on East State Street Sunday night.

Police say Kahl became belligerent after being escorted from the bar and pointed the handgun at people inside and outside of the business.

According to the police, they had to use force to subdue Kahl and received medical treatment for injuries he sustained during his arrest.

Kahl was arraigned on felony counts of aggravated assault and terroristic threats, as well as misdemeanors including reckless endangering, resisting arrest, disorderly conduct, and public drunkenness.

Kahl’s bond was set at $75,000. He’s due back in court next week.
