48 year old Mark Parker went before Judge Joseph Houser Thursday on new felony rape and kidnapping charges.
Parker waived his right to a preliminary hearing, and his charges got bound over to Mahoning County Common Pleas Court.
When we asked prosecutors about these new charges, they told 21 News that a joint release will come out Friday from Boardman Police and the prosecutor's office.

Just last week, Parker faced a judge in Youngstown Municipal Court for trying to abduct a woman.

On Monday, a woman told YPD that someone tried to abduct her on her way to work, adding that she had noticed a man was following the bus she was on from stop to stop.
When she got off the bus, he tried to force her into his car - but she managed to get away.
Police tracked Parker down with the help of surveillance cameras.

Parker served more than 20 years for the 2000 rape of a 15 year old girl.
A jury convicted him in that case, where he broke into the girl's house through a basement window, cut off the power and held her at gunpoint.
Parker told her if she screamed or called the police, he'd kill her and the kids she'd been babysitting.

He'd only been free from prison and on probation for seven months until last week.

During Thursday's arraignment, Judge Houser ordered that Parker be held with no bond out of concern for the safety of the community.
