Jackson-Milton Local School District holding a pet supply drive for four local animal charities
The Jackson-Milton Local School District is working together to provide four local animal charities in need with donations.
The Jackson-Milton Elementary School Student Council teamed up this JHMS National Honor Society and Students Against Destructive Decisions (SADD) to organize the "Pet Santa" drive.
Donations are being accepted up to December 20, when all donations will be delivered to their non-profits.
There are a few ways to donate to the drive:
Online
There are scannable QR codes on the flyer below.
These QR codes will take the viewer to several different digital Amazon wish lists created by the non-profits.
There is an Amazon wish list for Animal Charity of Ohio, New Lease on Life Animal Rescue, Friends of Fido/Mahoning County Dog Pound and Rebel Rescue Ranch.
Friends of Fido/Mahoning County Dog Pound also has a digital wish list on chewy.com.
Individuals who wish to donate may purchase off of these digital wish lists and the items will be shipped directly to the non-profit.
In-Person
Donations of puppy pads, canned and dry food, milk bones, blankets, paper towels, pill pockets, cat litter, treats, peanut butter, tennis balls and cleaning supplies such as bleach, Fabuloso, Tide and Dawn dish soap may also be accepted in the homeroom of the student.
Items from the digital wish lists will also be accepted in the homeroom of the student.
The Elementary School Building can be found at 14110 Mahoning Ave, North Jackson.
The High School Building can be found at 13910 Mahoning Ave, North Jackson.
