A Delaware man who was living at a campground in the 1400 block of Brookfield Road (State Route 7) was arrested Saturday afternoon in Brookfield Township after a police investigation into the death of a woman.

According to Brookfield Police, officers were called to the campground for a non-breathing female at 12:18 pm.

Brookfield Detective Jonathan Setser told 21 News that the coroner was called and found the woman had died of natural causes.

56-year-old Francis Brennick was residing in the trailer with the woman. Brennick was arrested on charges of abuse of a corpse (F5) after officers found that the deceased woman's shirt and pants had been allegedly tampered with and according to police, the suspect's phone contained images of the deceased woman.

The suspect was transported to Trumbull County jail and has a video arraignment scheduled for Tuesday at 8:45 a.m. in Judge Marty Nosich's courtroom.
