Guests at the Butler Institute of American Art in Youngstown can enjoy several arts and crafts displays, as well as some live music at the museum's 53rd Annual American Holiday Arts & Crafts Show.

A preview event was held Friday at 5 p.m. and the event itself kicked off Saturday morning at 10 a.m. and continued into Sunday.

The event features several unique crafts like pottery, paintings, prints, glass, jewelry, herbal products and much more from artists across the Valley.

In addition to the arts and crafts, guests can also enjoy live performances from various musicians and groups throughout the course of both days. These performers included pianist Ethan Masternick, the Ursuline High School Spanish Club and the Park Avenue Brass Quartet on Saturday.

Sunday's live entertainment lineup consists of Young Suzuki Violinists with Gina Bagnoli and Tom Smotzer, Davis & Henner and One Cello featuring Ed Madej.

Admission to the event is $5 for ages 13 and up and free for kids age 12 and under. The craft show's director Wayne Gruver tells 21 News the proceeds go towards supporting the Butler's education department and outreach programs.

Gruver highlighted the amount of work that the crafters at this event put into their works.

"Some of the best crafters in the area are in this show. Some of them have been here for as long as the show's been running. We stress the handmade quality of the work they do," Gruver said.

Sunday's show will last until 5 p.m.
