Over one million oven gloves sold by QVC recalled due to potential burn hazard
QVC has issued a recall on more than one million of its Temp-tations oven gloves due to a potential burn hazard.
According to the Consumer Products Safety Commission (CPSC), the recalled gloves fail to provide sufficient protection from heat, which poses a potential burn hazard.
So far, 162 instances of insufficient heat protection have been reported with 92 of those resulting in minor burns.
The recalled products were sold on QVC's website and digital shopping platforms, as well as QVC's televised shows between August of 2018 and August of 2024 for between $4 and $13 per pair.
The gloves also came bundled with sets of other kitchen equipment for between $13 and $26 per set.
The gloves were sold in a variety of colors including blue, yellow, red, floral and summer shell prints. "Temp-tations by Tara" is written on a label stitched on the inside of the gloves.

Anyone who has purchased a recalled product is asked to stop using it and contact QVC to receive a full refund.
