Red Door Church Emporium in North Jackson celebrates grand opening
The Red Door Church Emporium held a ribbon cutting ceremony to celebrate its grand opening that happened at 10 a.m. on Friday, November 29.
The new establishment holds two floors of antiques and collectables along with a cafe and bakery.
The owner of the newly-retrofitted Red Door Church Emporium Robert Joshua has been in the business of antiques for almost half a century and started dealing in them with his grandmother.
"My grandmother and I started in the business when I was 11 years old, she was probably 45 at the time. We were known all around the area for being antiques dealers," said Joshua.
Joshua was already quite familiar with the church growing up in the area.
"I graduated from Jackson-Milton right across the street in '82. This was our church too, we came here. My grandmother attended mass here," Joshua said.
You can find Red Door Church Emporium at 10763 Mahoning Avenue in North Jackson.
