Development group aims to revitalize, grow business in East Palestine
Representatives from real estate developer Small Nation toured East Palestine Friday afternoon, to meet with area small businesses and owners of vacant lots.
The group works in partnership with JobsOhio and other organizations to fund revitalization projects in small towns across the state.
Small Nation founder Jason Duff tells 21 News his hopes for East Palestine include redeveloping vacant lots to meet community needs, and supporting local economic and job growth.
"We're developing a new downtown assessment that we're really excited to give to city council, and working in partnership with JobsOhio to recruit new businesses but also help the existing businesses expand and grow," Duff said.
It's unclear at this time which buildings will be included in the project and how much it will cost.
