An 83-year-old man from Austintown is behind bars after police say he robbed a PNC Bank in the area by writing a note.

According to the police report, a bank employee told officers the suspect, identified as 83-year-old Forrest Lytell entered the bank and gave her a note demanding she give him all the money "or else."

Police say the teller gave the man all the cash in her drawer, as well as "bait currency," which is a set of bills with known serial numbers in order to track down bank robbers.

Police tracked Lytell's location to South Anderson Avenue where he was arrested. According to the report, when police asked Lytell if he had anything to say for himself, he simply replied, "How did you guys find me so fast?"

Lytell is charged with inducing panic and robbery. Court records do not show an arraignment date at this time.
