Here are holiday-related events throughout the rest of the year.
SOUTHERN PARK MALL EVENTS
Santa hours at the mall:
- December 1-22: Monday – Saturday: 11 am-7 pm (break: 3-4 pm); Sunday: noon – 6 pm (break: 3-3:30 pm)
- December 23: 10 am – 8 pm (break: 3-4 pm)
- December 24: 9 am – 4 pm (break: 1-2 pm)
EASTWOOD MALL EVENTS
Santa can be found in the Center Court of the mall.
- December 16: Liberty HS Jazz Ensemble performance 10 am (Center Court)
- December 17: Penn Ohio Singers performance (#2) 7 pm (Center Court)
- December 20: Storytime with Mrs. Claus 11 am-12 pm (Center Court)

- Winter Gift Barn at White House Fruit Farm: 9249 State Route 62, Green Township. Christmas Decor shopping, family gifts, toys for children, drinks available (coffee, hot chocolate or hot cider)
THROUGH DECEMBER 31
- Memories of Christmas Past, 648 Wick Ave., Youngstown. Walk through a historic home with each room decorated in holiday delight. Admission: $10 Adults, $9 Seniors (60+), $9 for college students (with ID), $8 for children (3-18), free for toddlers (under 3), MVHS Members and active military and veterans (with ID).
THROUGH JANUARY 4
- The Trumbull Art Gallery "Trees At the Gallery" Holiday Marketplace. 158 North Park Avenue on Courthouse Square in downtown Warren. More than 20 displays showcasing unique gift items handcrafted by local artists, including art, jewelry, seasonal and holiday décor, and more. Hours are Wednesdays Noon-4:00 pm; Thursdays Noon-6:00 pm; Fridays Noon-4:00 pm; and Saturdays 11:00 am-4:00 pm.
THROUGH DECEMBER 28 (EXCLUDING DEC. 25)
- The Joy of Christmas drive-through: Harvey s. Firestone Recreation Park, 338 E. Park Ave., Columbiana. 6-9 pm. Admission is $20 per vehicle. Over one million lights in more than 90 holiday-related scenes. Closed on December 25. No vehicles permitted Nov. 30, Dec. 5. 10 and 27 for special events. Dec. 5 and 27 are walk only nights, admission $5 per person.
DECEMBER 14-15; 21-22
- 4th Street Advent Market: 12 pm to 6 pm. Steubenville Nutcracker Village, 156 N 4th St, Steubenville. Come shop from the vendors for holiday gifts and goodies.
DECEMBER 7, 14, 21
- Breakfast and Tea with Cindy Lou and the Grinch. Piccadilly Parlour Victorian Tea Room. 114 S. Broad Street, Canfield. 9 to 11 am. $21 per child, including pancakes or waffles, cheesy hashbrowns, sausage, and fruit, or $23 per adult for miniature tea sandwiches and pasta salad. It also has afternoon teas and meals on Dec.7, 13, 14, 21, and 22. Reservations required, 330-533-4749.
DECEMBER 16
- Gone with the Wind Christmas Tea & Tour: 3 p.m. Tara, A Country Inn, 2844 Lake Rd, Clark Borough. Reservations call 724-962-3535. Holiday carols with finger delicacies, confectioneries, and tea. $30 per person.
- Merry Monday: 6 pm to 7:30 pm. Canfield Library, 43 US Route 224, Canfield. Live holiday music.
DECEMBER 17
- Holiday Trivia Night: 6 pm Drake's Landing Banquet Center, 2177 W Western Reserve Rd, Canfield.
DECEMBER 19
- Christmas Keg Blow Party: 6 to 10 pm. Biker Brewhouse, 5700 Patriot Blvd, Austintown. Put on your favorite ugly sweater, and come to the holiday party.
- Christmas Movies Trivia: 6 pm - The Block by Nova Destinations (23 Chestnut Ave, Sharon)
DECEMBER 20
- Christmas Spotlight with Limitless Company: 7 pm - Fred Astaire Dance Studios, 5090 Market St, Boardman. Admission is $30 per person; reservations are needed by calling 330-788-3200. Limitless is a non-profit dance company that caters to those with disabilities, age 4 years old and older. Refreshments and hors d’oeuvres included.
- Paige Marie Christmas Show: 9 pm to midnight. Steel Valley Brew Works, 7401 Market St, Boardman.
- Home for the SLAVidays: 7-11 pm at Penguin City Brewing Company. Admission is $15 per person; children 12 and under get in free. Slavic holiday traditions, family-friendly entertainment, and seasonal shopping.
- Home for the SLAVidays. 7 pm to 11 pm. Chardon Polka Band Christmas Show with visit from Krampus, Krupnik martinis with benefits going to Simply Slavic Scholarship Fund, enter your Kolachi in a competition for prizes.
DECEMBER 21
- Last Minute Market: 11 am to 5 pm. B&O Station Banquet Hall, 534 Mahoning Ave, Youngstown. Artists of the Rust Belt are providing unique gifts and crafts with food and beverages. Admission is $1.
- Hermitage Winter Solstice Celebration: 5:30 pm to 8:30 pm. Rodney White Park, 800 N Hermitage Rd, Hermitage. Live music, food, and warm beverages around a real yule log and fire to light up the night on the night with the shortest amount of daylight.
- Beers & Cheers with Santa Claus: 6 pm to 9 pm. Birdfish Brewing Company, 140 E Park Ave, Columbiana. Family event with Santa and Mrs. Claus.
- White Christmas film showing: 7 pm. Robins Theatre, 160 E Market St, Warren. Come see the 1954 holiday classic featuring Bing Crosby, Danny Kaye and Rosemary Clooney. Admission price is $7.
- The Magical Polar Experience: 6 pm. Packard Music Hall, 1703 Mahoning Ave NW, Warren. Tickets are $29 and include live musical performances, dancers, a visit from Santa, and Polar Pack. Tickets are $39 each, including holiday snacks and beverages, a commemorative ornament, and a drinking mug.
- The Nutcracker: Jordan School of Ballet, 3 pm at Lakeview High School Auditorium. Tickets are $20 each and can be bought in advance online or $20 cash at the door.
DECEMBER 22
- Last Minute Market: 11 am to 5 pm. B&O Station Banquet Hall, 534 Mahoning Ave, Youngstown. Artists of the Rust Belt are providing unique gifts and crafts with food and beverages. Admission is $1.
- Candlelit Christmas Concert & Dinner: 5 pm to $7 pm. The Peter Allen Inn, 8581 State St, Kinsman. $50 per person. A three-course dinner served by candlelight with live holiday musical performances.
- Winter Nights at Fellow's Riverside Gardens: 4:30 to 6:30 pm. Fellow's Riverside Gardens, McKinley Ave, Youngstown. Come see the outdoor lighting display, activities for children, and more than 50 decorated trees with live holiday music.
DECEMBER 24
- Christmas Eve Service hosted by Lamppost Farm: 5 pm to 6 pm. Birdfish Brewing Company, 140 E Park Ave, Columbiana. Come for the Christmas Eve service with holiday songs and scripture. Dress warm, as garage doors may be open in the ballroom.
