The Funny Farm Comedy Club is opening its new permanent location below Margarita King along Route 422 in Niles

This is a look inside the Funny Farm Comedy Club's new humorous abode which seats approximately 100 people. The Comedy Club has attracted popular acts like Jeff Dunham, Louie Anderson and Victoria Jackson.

"Carrot Top was a 18-19-year-kid when we first brought him here to the club. Tammy Pescatelly was another one, she was doing open mic nights for us before she went on to the tonight show. Steve Harvey was here all the time in the early days.", said Dave Robich, owner of the Funny Farm Comedy Club.

Robich says they've been operating out of the new location for a few months and that there isn't a bad seat in the house.

"It's a perfect room for comedy because you have the low ceilings, the setup is perfect because you also have a step-up to the next level--so everyone gets a great seat in the room.", Robich added.

He also tells 21 News that comedy has withstood the test of time due to the fact that it never goes out of styles. They've also branched out to comedians on Tik Tok for future shows, and to draw in younger folks.

Open Mic Nights will take place on Wednesdays starting at 7:00 pm, followed by special events on Thursdays and Fridays, and popular touring acts on weekends.
