Trumbull Co. Sheriff's Office detective being featured in A&E true crime series Thursday

A member of the Trumbull County Sheriff's Office will be featured in a new episode of A&E's "Interrogation Raw" Thursday night.

TCSO Detective Wayne Mackey is featured in Thursday's episode, "I Promise It Was Him," which airs at 10 p.m.

"Interrogation Raw" is a true crime series that details the twist and turns of interrogations. The hour-long episodes show tactics used during interrogations as the detectives give commentary about the process.

The episode covers a local case where a 911 caller reports being abducted by a masked man and is forced into the trunk of her own car. Soon after, she hears her girlfriend being shot and killed.

The detectives are sent to the crime scene and put out a BOLO alert for the suspect. Once the suspect is inside the interrogation room, detectives have to determine if the murder was the result of a kidnapping plot.
