Car fire slows traffic on I-80E in Austintown

Traffic has slowed along Interstate 80 East near the Route 11 ramp in Austintown.

According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol, the delays are due to multiple crashes in the area Thursday morning.

One of the cars in the area caught fire, leading to some of the lanes being closed.

A 21 News crew on scene found a tow truck working to clear a car from the roadway around 7:30 a.m.

State Troopers said one person suffered minor injuries caused by the crash, not the fire.
